I have a quarter mile bridge and in the summer I the signal drop on hot days then reestablish as evening approaches, I think it has to do with a temperature gradient caused by a roof that's grazing the LOS. I rarely lose signal from fall to spring, and it's been up around three years.
I also had an issue with a bridge where an antenna was behind an attic window at 45 degrees to the window. When it got hot out, I'd have to open the window. But wait, there's more... When I would open the window, I'd get signal immediately. I verified that it was not related to the temperature of the access point by opening the window halfway. When the window blocked the antenna - no signal. Is there objects in the line of sight?
