actually, at 900 mhz, 36" is preferred.

On one tower, with trango, using an OD9-11 (11 dbi vert omni), I saw 8-10 db improvements in my customer connections that were NLOS when I moved the antenna out from 24" to 36"....

Is 6 inches enough separation with a 9db omni from a 25g tower?,
I’ve done it with 12 before and I had no problems, just wondering
    what 6 would do.
