I don't know how high off the roof it would take to not have bad multipath issues. I do know that I had a CPE on one end of a metal building that was longer than a football field & twice as wide(was shooting over the length of it) and I "the Devil" trying to correct that issue while it was in that position. I was about 5' off the roof on a custom made roof mount. I had to get out to the side of that puppy to get rid of the issues associated with the roof. I think as it got hotter and the heat waves rolled off the roof the worse it got!
