I judge on video quality on my Sprint 6700 smartphone. If I have at least 1 EVDO bar I can usually get full motion video with good resolution on the small screen. Sound is pretty good, excellent if you use the stereo headphones instead of crappy speaker on the phone.
But, it does eat batteries at a bodacious clip (grin).
