I have asked one of Meraki's people to join the list at least long enough to answer questions for those of you who are interested in their products. His name is Chase Phillips. He is a friend of mine and he worked for Mt. Vernon. Net for a short time while he was in school. I think Sascha worked with Chase also when he was with the NCSA. Hopefully we will see him pop in here in a bit.

OK, but can we as wisps use the meraki units on our own ?

i.e. can we use it to extend mikrotik hotspots out through a mesh of
merakii (hah!)

or, do we have to pay Meraki to use their hotspot stuff ?

Yes, the whole point of Meraki is to provide access to regular WiFi
clients.
They also happen to mesh.

I have one doubt about Meraki, would it support regular wifi clients
connecting to the Meraki APs/Repeaters/Gateways? Or all has to be
meraki?
