We ordered a batch of 5plus units last winter. They didn't perform to calculated levels, so we put em on the bench and tested them with a meter. All tested below manufacturer's spec. We haven't seen the same reliability with the regular 5a units that you describe below. For what it's worth... Chris Intelliwave
