It really depends on where your users are going. When we had MCI + Sprint with full routes, the inbound traffic was virtually identical (WOW servers were closer via Sprint though). Outbound traffic leaned towards the UUNet/MCI/VZBiz circuit. In another life I found that the Tier 1 providers usually got and sent more traffic than Tier 2.
