I wanted to get input from the WISPA list about a complete design for a off grid base station design base on a dual and quad radio system. We have been looking into this and have come up with a design using both wind and solar power that will keep a unit up and running 24/7/365. The idea is to have a complete package design so the base stations can be installed anywhere, but in order to keep the costs low it would be base on a max 48Watt design.
Questions: 1. Is this something WISP would want in the USA, and would find useful? 2. Would you like this in a single package or parts (where a package would have a 1 year warrantee and parts would not) 3. What are you finding the power needs are at a typical WPOP? 4.
