I hate the idea of having to use a AC UPS to convert its battery back to AC just to switch it back to DC at the POE. What a waste of electricity and it lowers Tower uptime in a power outage. I know you could just use a charging unit connected to deep cycle batteries but what happens when the power goes out and you had no idea and the battery get down to 8v. Surly there is someone out there with one that's <$1k. Shouldn't be more than a couple hundred bucks.
