Subject: Re: [WISPA] Preliminary analysis of BTOP/BIP applications - WiMAX
and Fiber are big winners with 307 WiMAX applications requesting $1.6B and
181 fiber applications requesting $3.7B - 1130 last mile applications
requesting $14.2B.

It will be interesting to compare the applications with the money
winners. -RickG

total of 1130 last mile applications requesting $14.2B. This analysis is
based on the information provide in the project description and not all of
the descriptions listed the last mile technology. In the next couple of
weeks, NTIA will publish the executive summaries for the applications which
should shed more light on the projects. I downloaded all of the applications
into Excel and added a column with the Last Mile technology. Send me e-mail
if you would like a copy of the spreadsheet.
