I use axxcelera 3650 gear without diversity. Obviously there are certain limitations but I have customers with cpe units that are completely non line of sight (over a building and through trees) at 2 miles that reliably do 10 Meg symetrical links. Once you get a good cinr number you are done. There are quite a lot of new concepts to learn but once you get the general idea it's not a problem.
