It may sound stupid, but I use Delorm Topo 4 Plot your endpoints, draw a line and look at the trerrian profile. Add the antenna heights and you should have a real good idea if it will work or not.
I played with Radio Mobile for a long time. It works, but Delorm is faster and eaiser for PtP links.
