You can pick up an older Tektroniks 492p off ebay for around $1000. A couple hundred for a new calibration and you've got a spectrum analyzer that works from 50kHz to 21 GHz...and they are military rated meaning they are tough as nails. Just make sure you've got a good winch to get it up the tower...they weigh about 50 lbs. I love mine.
