3Com was close with the Network Jack devices. made to fit in a wall outlet, poe, POE out, and 300 version was managed. Only four ports out, but initial testing was pretty cool. It is only 802.3af.
nj200 is the 10/100 model, and I just googled it and there is now a nj2000 for Gigabit speeds.
