The WISPA wiki can be accessed at http://wiki.wispa.org and is a member's
only site.  On this wiki, our members can share information such as
contracts, forms, software tools and much more.   Review the Section
Headings to find one of interest.  Then select the Edit tab to add
additional usable information that you feel like contributing to the Wiki.

resource for our existing and new members!

Did you know that WISPA publishes news articles and special announcement on
our homepage and via Twitter?  Follow wispaboard.

Did you know that WISPA maintains a Google Calendar?  The calendar can be
viewed on the WISPA Homepages at http://www.wispa.org/?page_id=1984 or click
on the Large Calendar <http://www.wispa.org/?page_id=1984>  link below the
small calendar in the right sidebar.  Anyone with events to place on the
calendar should send an email to [email protected] and we will get the event
posted.

Did you know that WISPA lobbies the FCC through personal visits, filing
comments and sends letters to better our industry landscape and improve our
competiveness?

Did you know that WISPA has numerous committees that need assistance from
our members?  These committees include FCC, Legislative, Promotion, Bylaws,
Wholesale, Tradeshow and several others.  WISPA is a very successful
grassroots effort that thrives on our member's contribution of time and
effort, more so than financial commitment.  We strive to keep dues low, but
do request assistance in other ways.

Did you know encourages our Vendor Members to offer discounts to WISPA
members.  These discounts can be viewed in the Wiki.  Vendors are encouraged
to edit the Special Offers

Navigation pane.

Did you know that WISPA is run by a nine member annually elected Board of
Directors?  The Annual Election will kick off in June.  Important dates are
below.  Consider running for a Board position this year.  We always want new
blood and new ideas to join our Board and enhance our membership offerings.
We will be seeking volunteers for the Nomination Committee soon.

Did you know that WISPA is sponsoring the Wireless Without Limits Cruise on
Nov. 14th - 19th to the Grand Cayman and Cozumel?  Or that WISPA is
sponsoring the Rural Broadband Expo tentatively scheduled in early November?

A. Principal Member. A Principal Member is a person or business that
operates a wireless information service as defined in Section 1.2 of the
WISPA Bylaws.  Principal Members may have other types of business interests
and still meet the criteria to be a Principal Member.

Annual Dues:  $250  Semi-Annual Dues:  $135  Monthly Dues:  $25 per month

B. Vendor Member. A Vendor Member is any distributor, supplier or
manufacturer of goods and services provided to WISPS.

Annual Dues:  $1000  Semi-Annual Dues:  $600  Quarterly: $325  Monthly Dues:
$125 per month

C. Associate Membership. An Associate Member is any individual or business
entity that does not qualify for principal or vendor membership.

Annual Dues: $100

D. Advisory Membership. By action of the board of directors, any individual
or organization may be appointed as an Advisory member, who shall not have
any voting rights.  Advisory Membership is the only class of membership
which does not require the payment of dues.

The board of directors shall have the sole authority for determining which
class or classes of membership are available to an individual or business
entity. Should an individual or business entity be determined by the board
of directors to be eligible for more than one class of membership, said
person or business entity shall choose which one of the classes it desires
to belong to and shall have the rights and responsibilities of that
membership class.
