I have done the hose reel before, and never will again. It's like cat5 on a spool, hangs up, and is definitely a pain in the rear you don't want to deal with when climbing. Most tower crews (one showed me) will do a figure 8 of rope into a barrel/tub/bin. Have been doing it that way for 4+ years and never had an issue. Regards,
