I haven't read these, but they look like your usual garbage 
patents.  They take something that people have been doing for years, 
write up a patent, and it gets awarded because there is no prior patent on it.

I wonder if any of the stuff I did with RSPF in 1986-1989, or what 
the other ham packet radio people did in that era, could be used as 
prior art against some of these patents.
