I would argue that WISP industry standard is 12-28 V poe, as the majority of the equipment that vendors distribute use power supplies in that voltage range. 48 V is not that common amid the non-telco When you get to the pricey suppliers the 48af V poes ARE the standard. But that's a cost that we don't want to throw at our customers I like standards as long as there are implementations of those standards that take advantage of production quantities to lower costs not lock in higher prices. i.e. Ethernet vs. token-ring.... IMNSHO... I'm not saying there aren't advantages to 48V when you need the watts. But did the Titanium really have a bigger wattage requirement? Everything about it that I saw said it's the same inside as the plastic.
