This is obviously the wrong part for the application. I personally would be more concerned about the depth and proper construction of the anchorage point.

The correct way would have been a leg anchor with a dispersion plate at the end. The turnbuckles should have been eye & bolt style with the blot ends mounted through the plates. Too late for that now....

With what you have in place I would just replace the shackle with another with a much greater load rating. Without knowing the tower model, height, loading and physical location its only a guess. But watch out..... There is a ton of cheap Chinese crap on the market that, while rated for a certain load, has failed under much less considerations. Spend the money and get shackles from Crosby. They don't play games.

The turnbuckles should also have security ties in place to prevent the turnbuckle from being adjusted and in case the TB should fail.

I also wonder what the guy strand is coming out of the anchor point.....
