In.lurking for this discussion, I asked my 19 year old network tech to set up a full Cacti sever for me. At 9 AM I gave him access to an old Dell on the rack with W2003 and to wipe it, load UNIX and Cacti and at 12, he was loading in the first subnet of UBNT equipment. I had bought the recommended book yesterday, read it last night, which made everything start up easily.
