Al,

Cisco has had this feature in their APs for a while. I remember see a
checkbox labelled 'Find uncongested channel' or something similar in
their config setup next to the 'Channel' drop down menu. Since Cisco
owns Linksys, they could add the feature to Linksys APs too but they
may limit it to high-end (read 'more expensive') APs.

You should write a polite email to Linksys asking for this
functionality. Maybe they will listen.
