The client is not the issue. They are NAT'd behind the client side
equipment. It is straight ethernet to any client hardware. Similar
to a cable or dsl modem bridging setup. OS settings will have no
effect on the wireless connection as it is not seen as a wireless
adapter to the OS.
I guess what I am looking for is carrier grade hardware that can
better handle interference both RF and LOS. I have noticed people
mention navini here and I have just started looking at what they can
offer us. Their website is rather limited.

Does anyone have any real world experience with navini? Costs?
Ranges? How well does their NLOS hardware work? Radio's you are
plugging into their equipment?
