The channel may have been somewhat better when the client initially asked for the IP address via DHCP. The client will retain the IP address till its lease runs out (could be a few days). So it could have used the same IP address during your test when the channel was so bad that it couldn't even exchange one packet. - Harshal ------------------------ Yahoo!
