I have bought compaq WL410 AP, with Linksys NIC. I have installed the NIC in my desktop, and my laptop has one built-in. Now, both the PCs detect signal, but i can't go on the internet. I've connected my ISP's RJ45 connection to the AP.
I also can't get into the Access Point to change its IP setting... Both my PCs show weird IP such as 169.254.11.151. I;ve tried resetting and reloading the AP, but nothing happens... according to the manual, the lights on the AP are supposed to turn red on the WL410 when reloading, but that doesn't happen.
