hTurbolinux Launches Linux IP Phone System Products including IP-PBX
Starter Kit for Easy to Set-up VoIP Phone Environment

TOKYO Aug. 11, 2005--Turbolinux, Inc., a global leader of Linux-
based solutions, today announced the sales launch of IP-
Communication Server, a series of budget priced Linux IP phone
system products for small to mid-sized businesses. The IP-
Communication Server Series provides cost-effective products with
all-in-one functions for a business system with voicemail capability
for all phone extensions.

Due to the recent expansion and adoption of high capacity broadband,
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phones have experienced
increased popularity and sales. Companies benefit from significant
cost savings by integrating the data and voice network and see
increased productivity through coordination with existing
information systems. Turbolinux expects VoIP phone system demand to
grow. Keeping up with the trend, Turbolinux formed an alliance with
J.Link, Inc., an Internet telephony products developer, to co-
develop the Linux IP phone system combined with PBX solutions.

There are two primary offerings within the IP Communication Server
Series: IP-Communication Server LUTi IP-PBX, a VoIP PBX phone system
for small and medium-scale businesses, fully compatible to NTT
Docomo's FOMA/wireless LAN, and IP-Communication Server LUTi IP-
ContactCenter, a call center system also for small and medium-scale
businesses.

At the same time, Turbolinux will start selling IP-PBX Starter Kit,
a kit that allows for easy set-up of the IP phone system. It
includes all necessary hardware, software and support to enable a
mobile centrex environment by combining FOMA/wireless LAN dual cell-
phone, wireless LAN access point and VoIP gateway.

As an IP communication platform vendor, Turbolinux will continue
enhancing the functions through co-development with J.Link, Inc., to
enlarge the VoIP phone market.
