what i mean is from each node i should be able to measure the strength of the signal from all the other nodes. As u said there are n*(n-1) values. How can i measure them?? --sudha

Each node in the network will have a different signal strength. So you will have to measure it at each node for the numbers to make any sense. Also, the strength depends on the transmitter and its location. For a network with 'n' nodes you will have n*(n-1) possible values of this measurement. If you tell us what is it that you are really trying to do, maybe we can suggest an alternative solution. - Harshal http://www.wireless--lan.com/ http://www.wlanforum.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wirelesslan/ SPONSORED LINKS Wireless lan Wireless communication --------------------------------- YAHOO!
