Are you actually using VS2008EE or something else? Did you closely follow the developer guide? You might want to re-read it and verify everything. You could try "nmake -f Makefile distclean" and then recompile the whole thing; that often fixes a lot of problems. You might also choose to compile and test an "off-the-shelf" version first to make sure everything is correct before adding any of your own customizations. Other usual questions might help resolve the problem, e.g. which version of Windows are your running - XP, Vista, which service pack, etc.? Which version of Wireshark are you building - 1.0.x, 1.2.x, 1.3.x, SVN, ...?
