Hi Beverly, MS certainly wants us in the JavaScript enabled web 2.0 world, they still just want us to jump through some extra hoops for them, as if they were still special. But they are getting better than they used to be. The native XMLHttpRequest object in MSIE 7 was a HUGE step forward in the common playing field.
Personally I think JavaScript is a 100 times more stable and reliable than it used to be just a few years ago. But each browser still has some of it's own problems. ~ MSIE with sizing and positioning percision ~ Firefox with dynamic redraw issues ~ Opera with quirky form handling ~ Safari with weird iframe event handling ~ Konqueror with dynamic redraw issues and the absense of key event handlers and shading All the best.
