Back to the original question.
If the frames 2, 3 and 4 are within a rectangular area you could load a
frame set within a frameset.
The initial frameset would contain frame 1 and frame A. The frameset set you
load into A would contain frames 2,3, and 4.
The frameset you load would actaully be a taf to which you pass arguments
which are used to build 2, 3 and 4.
