Primebase http://www.primebase.com or open base are good choices
http://wwww.openabse.com. Both have free Developers version.

Primebase has free Mac Os 9 ODBC Drivers, while OpenBase you'll have to pay
for them. Primebase will also run on Mac OS 9 but it is slow as molasses.
Running on Win 2k or Mac OS X Primebase flies!!

Openbase will only run on Mac OS X, Win 2k, Solaris, and Linux. However it
has wonderful DBA tools.
