I haven't seen or heard of anything that MDaemon/AV plugin combo does that
Mercury/32 and F-Prot doesn't. Checks all inbound mail, sends warnings, isolates
bad mail, etc. Mercury/32 is 100% standards-based mail server that is easy to set
up, stable, very fast, and easy to change as users are added / deleted. Plus it has
some great mail list features built in. I used 3 different pay-for-it mail programs
until one day I needed 11 mailboxes and the next step license was $500. Now I
have over 200 mailboxes on a free mail server running on Windows.
There are, of course, many times where a pay-for-it mail program makes sense,
but for many of us Mercury/32 does everything we need.
