Yes, 'Hmmm' is right, I would expect thaat an HTML msg would stay HTML, and likewise a Rich Text stay Rich Text. And that is what I see, but I would also expect my Plain Text msg's to stay Plain Text.
Your reply below came to me in Plain Text, as you might have expected. But I'm replying now in Plain Text and will likely see this msg in Rich Text once it is distributed to the list!!

I don't see every message as HTML or Rich Text. For example, your previous
message that I replied to I left in HTML. It came to the list in HTML, at
least from what I see.
This message I specifically changed to Plain Text before I sent it. Does it
show up for you any differently?
