Ian, don't know why I didn't get your original post.
I use www.WorldWideDNS.net.
They offer both static and dynamic DNS.  Prices are on their homepage.  I started
with them back when they were free, but their service and ease-of-use keeps me
around.  They offer 10 for $50 per year, much cheaper than Verisign at 24 per
name per year.
