(hint, hint)

Thinking ahead, just a bit, array manipulation (specifically in the
local scope) has been a major focus for speed increase in V5. Just doing
a VERY quick and unscientific test showed about 100% improvement in
speed. While I'm sure your mileage will vary, I believe that there will
be overall improvements in this area of server performance.
