Does anyone know if the FORMAT attribute can be used to format an alphanumeric string? I want to properly format Canadian (and eventually English) Postal Codes which use a set combination of letters and numbers. Canada uses A1A 1A1 (i.e. letter number letter space number letter number). I'm stripping the non-appropriate characters out and forcing the value to upper case prior to doing the insert so I know what my stored value will be. Right now I'm using:
<@LEFT STR='<@COLUMN "Contact.ZipPostal">' NUMCHARS='3'> <@RIGHT STR='<@COLUMN "Contact.ZipPostal">' NUMCHARS='3'> but that is lengthy. Any other suggestions? Please let me know.
