In the morning of Day Two, we learned that our
Witango product and booth staff was awarded "Best of Show" in the
category of "Development Tools and Application Servers." It's a very nice badge
of honour and comes with a big framed wall plaque.
It was evaluated by anonymous judges who visited the booth and asked questions. We didn't know who was a judge. They obviously received very favourable treatment from the Witango booth staff (we're pretty sure it was Sri ... way to go, Sri !!)
It was a fabulous experience for us, and earned us even more traffic and attention from the press. Big name companies from all over the States were stopping by and expressing great interest. Not just 2-5 minute demo's; but rather 15-20 minute, sit-down conversations around how they could put this to use in various projects.
Who knows how long the sales cycle could be ... and how many will eventually buy. But we know that Witango awareness was raised in a fabulous way at this show. Talk to one of the Resellers who were there .. Ben, Sri and Robert are all going home pleased.
To Phil and Sophie: All of us at NCOL and our Reseller Team want to thank you for the opportunity to represent Witango to this crowd. It was an honour and a priviledge to introduce and to show off all your hard work.
