I have had tremendous problems throughout my past applications with numerous developers using scopes and then the variables showing up in different applications.

I have decided to use custom scopes and understand the assignment of such items just fine.  I am curious though, I thought that I had to define the scope in the server config file. I have looked at page 183 in the Manual and it doesn’t say anything about labeling the custom scope name in the config. File?

Don’t I have to do that?  In the “customs” tab in the config file?

thanks for any help

New York ... Days 2 and 3

In the morning of Day Two, we learned that our Witango product and booth staff was awarded "Best of Show" in the category of "Development Tools and Application Servers." It's a very nice badge of honour and comes with a big framed wall plaque.

It was evaluated by anonymous judges who visited the booth and asked questions. We didn't know who was a judge. They obviously received very favourable treatment from the Witango booth staff (we're pretty sure it was Sri ... way to go, Sri !!)

It was a fabulous experience for us, and earned us even more traffic and attention from the press. Big name companies from all over the States were stopping by and expressing great interest. Not just 2-5 minute demo's; but rather 15-20 minute, sit-down conversations around how they could put this to use in various projects.

Who knows how long the sales cycle could be ... and how many will eventually buy. But we know that Witango awareness was raised in a fabulous way at this show. Talk to one of the Resellers who were there .. Ben, Sri and Robert are all going home pleased.

To Phil and Sophie: All of us at NCOL and our Reseller Team want to thank you for the opportunity to represent Witango to this crowd. It was an honour and a priviledge to introduce and to show off all your hard work.

This note and a few pictures of us with the award are now up on the link:

Hang on, everyone ... this should be quite a ride !!!
