So far what I did to fix this was basically repeat the Search action by a
hyperlink at the top of the page that adds the search args from the form to
in hyperlink string. That way I have the args in the post arg that excel
uses. This works seems like a kludge but the fault seems to be with excel.

Any other thoughts?

I have another report that uses no form input arguments so that one should
be fine right?
