The answer would depend on factors like:
* are you in control of the extranet server
* does the extranet server run Witango
* is this server running also the "target" site (a.k.a. can these two sites
share variables)

In general, sharing auth. info isn't a simple problem and there are 2
solutions I have looked at - Microsoft Passport and the Liberty Aliance
Project. The first one is expensive and the second complex to implement.

Depending on the answer to the issues above, you might be able to put
together a fairly simple solution if "the planets are aligned properly".
