two things to watch out for when using crontab:
1. on certain servers, you had to put a carriage return at the end of the contab file for it to work properly
2. make sure that the link that you're trying to execute can be accessed through a web browser on the same machine since it is using http requests and the most common mistake seems to be incorrect urls being used.

We're trying to get a regularly scheduled Witango program to execute every hour. I figured that the crontab would be a good way to get this going but we just can't seem to make it work. If anyone uses crontab successfully would you send me a sample of your crontab file so I can see how you have it set up. I know I must be missing something simple, but I'll be damned if I can see it.

System is Windows 2000 with Witango 2000. Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,
Gene Wolf
