Steve,
Are you using IIS to send mail, or do you have a mail server installed?
If it's IIS, sometimes the outbound queue gets over-loaded, and it can even
shut down the SMTP service on the server.
Check the outbound mail queue, and see if the service is running.

The mail isn't being mailed out and I don�t understand what is up in the IIS
part of things. I have never had this type of problem before.
