I would recommend using zoneedit for your dns. It is cheap, reliable, and has features you cannot duplicate.

Unfortunately, I have had to buy a new server to take the place of an existing NT 4.0 server. I need to migrate DNS and IIS to the new 2000 server. The server will have 40 sites and secondary DNS for the primary DNS server. I have been all over Microsoft to see if there was an easy way to do this. I came across an IIS migration tool.

Has anyone used this tool? The new server must also take over the hosting of the old one. Eventually I will kill the old server and use the new, but I am looking for a good way of doing this. I would hate to have to set up new IP's and dns by hand.

Any ideas ou there?

Thanks

John
