Correction. I misread a Direct DBMS stored in XML the SQL for a search action has to be built upon the server reading the file. and a directDBMS is stored in the XML so all the server is has to do is submit the SQL
So technically DirectDBMS is faster, but not by much. The SQL statement is stored within the XML. So the server just processes the SQL statement.
