Hi Robert,

I get the following message from your <@URL> metatag:

------------------
https://wwwcie.ups.com/ups.app/xml/Rate: unable to send data: An SSL
Connection could not be established
------------------

I was also running a TCP/HTTP Trace tool at the same time and could see that
an encrypted Response was sent back from UPS - so you are making a
connection.

But unfortunately, your version of Witango cannot establish the SSL
handshake during the <@URL> operation - so <@URL> cannot send anything.

There have been issuses in the past with earlier versions of Witango that
have to do with the bit-level of encryption, so have you tried v5 yet? I
understand it has improved support for SSL in <@URL>, but haven't tried it
yet myself.

You may also want to consider opening some sort of Support Issue with With
or your closest Reseller / Distributor.

If all else fails, and you are on Windows, I would recommend giving MSXML at
try. You can load the COM objects in the Witango Editor and then use the
XMLHTTP Method to Post your XML and get the Response.

You can download MSXML for free here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/default.asp?url=/downloads/sample.asp?ur
l=/msdn-files/027/001/766/msdncompositedoc.xml
(Above URL may word-wrap).

Note: I would be careful about changing your 'quotes' in the XML you are
trying to post, because double-quotes are the preferred standard and you
don't know what sort of parser UPS has at the other end. Better to change
the quote sequence in your Metatags then the XML. Plus I would look into the
2 XML documents in one payload thing - verify this is what UPS requires,
because this is also non-standard.

Does UPS provide test files in other Languages, such as ASP? Do you know
they work? Maybe you could provide a sample in ASP, if one is available.

Hope this helps. Cheers....
