Title: Re: Witango-Talk: Converting FileMaker Databases to MySQL on MacOS X
You might look at MacSQL utility(http://www.rtlabs.com). It’s the closest thing to MSSQL’s enterprise manager I could find. It offers an FMP synchronization tool, import/export tools, miscellaneous handy assistants as well as a straight query maker.

I find it to be a nice visual tool for managing multiple databases.

Of course, I would make sure you prepare your data ahead of time as was mentioned by Dan Stein. As you know, MySQL doesn’t do have calculation fields, etc.

The only caveat is converting dates to the yyyy/mm/dd format MySQL requires. I found a handy little script on the internet for that, if you need it.
