Hi list.
Clean install of latest v5 (5.0.1.058) on a fresh win2000 advanced server box. Getting
the old '-808 cannot create native object' for all COM calls.
Can add and browse the objects fine in the editor. LoadHandler=1 is set in
handlers.ini. Nothing suspect in objects.ini or applications.ini. The following
tell-tale lines in the events log server start up...
[ 1036] 2003-06-03 16:51:51 START WARNING Cannot initialize the "COM" plug-in.
The plug-in is disabled.
[ 1036] 2003-06-03 16:51:51 START WARNING Cannot initialize the "JAVABEAN"
plug-in. The plug-in is disabled.
What is the story???
