I am working on a email routine and trying to write files to the Pickup folder of my SMTP server. The SMTP server is not on my web server. I believe I have the permissions setup correctly as I can logon on the web server as the internet user, access the share for the Pickup folder on the SMTP server and write a file to this folder. The SMTP then server processes it correctly. The problem I am having is in the "Write" action. I have tried denoting the path with a UNC method. IE \\ServerName\Pickup$ where Pickup$ is the share. It doesn't seem to like this and I get the following error: [Query] [83] to:[EMAIL PROTECTED] from:[EMAIL PROTECTED] subject:This is a test. This is a test to see if I can use the exchanges server. (write to file: \\ServerName\Pickup$\22222) [Error] [4833] -303 Can not open the specified file. I am guessing that I need to map this share and then do the "Write" action. IE: T:\22222 Am I on the right track? If so, can I do a map with the an "External" action. I guess what it comes down to, how do I write a file to another Windows 2000 server?
