No I think it is safari also. I've seen this with Filemaker site and next previous buttons where you would think the CDL they are using would not matter because it is rendered as HTML by the browser but it was broken in version 1.0.
Safari has some bugs still with HTML it does not recognize often it just chokes other times errors like this.
