Look in your event log, and also see if you see any "fatal exceptions".

YES, i have the same thing! witango crashed until 5 times by day, and
takes sometimes until 99 % cpu of a xserve....
We have done a script to check if witango is stopped which starts it
again. Nothing in the log events....witango stops and crashes, it's  
all,
I have witango 5 on Mac OSX , wintango 5 and my sql db. all is on a
xserve dual processor.
