Title: Re: Witango-Talk: Witango5Admin logon error
I'm getting closer. I found a couple of things. I had two startup items, Witango5 and WitangoAppSvr. I've had demo and previous versions so I wasn't sure which was actually running anything. I ran the server delete script, deleted both startup items and reinstalled the server (testing on my Mac first before reworking the server). The current version of the OSX server, 062, uses Witango5. The owner of the process is also witango. The Witango5Admin is installed as the user who installs it, usually not the witango user. The StoreUser.tmp file has an IP address already (192.168.0.28). I removed this IP address and did a "chown witango StoreUser.tmp" I restarted my Mac to make sure the server process started with the right user and I actually got config.taf to log me in properly.
I then logged out using the Logout button on the config.taf web page. It came back with this:

I hadn't seen this on the regular server so maybe this only happens when you're using the Development Server. Either way, it says it purged the user (IP address) from the tmp file. I then tried to log back on and got this:

It doesn't seem to like me doing this. I quit the browser and retried. I got the following:

This seems to make sense because I was the last user to log on. When I press OK, I get right in. It seems the purge command didn't delete the IP address but it also doesn't seem to matter because Witango lets me in anyway. Should I care about this or is something violating whatever security the program has? Thanks.

Also look at the permissions your Witango Server is running under for permissions. This is the same permission that is needed the access to the .tmp file.
